SpendWise is a personal expense tracking and budgeting application. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.


1. Financial records

Income, expense, budget, category, account and note information entered into SpendWise is stored locally on your device. The publisher does not operate a server that receives these financial records. You can voluntarily export a JSON backup or CSV report and are responsible for where you save or share exported files.


2. Advertising

The free version uses Google AdMob. Google and its partners may process device or advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics and advertising data to provide, measure and protect advertising. 3. Purchases

SpendWise uses Google Play Billing for the optional Premium subscription. Google processes payment information. The app receives purchase and subscription status needed to unlock Premium but does not receive your complete payment-card details. Google Play's terms and privacy policy apply to purchases.


4. Backups

Android or the device manufacturer may back up app data depending on your device and account settings. These services are controlled by their respective providers. You can manage Android backup settings on your device.


5. Data retention and deletion

Local records remain until you delete them, clear SpendWise app data or uninstall the app, subject to any device backup copy. For questions about information processed by the publisher, contact [SUPPORT EMAIL].


6. Children

SpendWise is not directed to children under 13. The intended audience is adults managing personal finances.


7. Security

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no device or transmission method is completely secure. Protect access to your device and exported backup files.


8. Changes

This policy may be updated when features, SDKs or legal requirements change. The updated effective date will be shown above.
